Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization & Leisure

Your journey begins as you arrive in Leh, situated at an altitude of around 11,500 ft. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel where you can relax and acclimatize to the high altitude. Proper rest on the first day is essential to avoid altitude sickness. In the evening, if you feel comfortable, you can visit the peaceful Shanti Stupa for panoramic sunset views and explore the local Leh market. Enjoy a warm dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Leh Sightseeing – Culture & Scenic Wonders

After breakfast, begin your local sightseeing tour. Visit the inspiring Hall of Fame Museum, dedicated to Indian Army heroes. Continue to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a sacred site for devotees. Experience the mystery of Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to move uphill on their own. Later, witness the stunning confluence at Sangam (Indus-Zanskar Confluence). Return to Leh for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Excursion to Monasteries – Spiritual & Cultural Day

Today, explore the spiritual side of Ladakh by visiting ancient monasteries like Alchi Monastery, known for its unique artwork, and Likir Monastery, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys. This day gives you a deep insight into Ladakhi culture, traditions, and Buddhist heritage. Return to Leh for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La

Get ready for an adventurous drive through one of the highest motorable roads in the world, Khardung La Pass. Enjoy stunning views of snow-covered mountains as you descend into Nubra Valley. Visit the iconic Diskit Monastery and explore the unique Hunder sand dunes where you can enjoy a double-humped camel ride. Spend the night in a camp or hotel surrounded by nature.

Day 5: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake

After breakfast, drive towards the world-famous Pangong Lake, located at an altitude of around 14,000 ft. The journey itself is incredibly scenic with changing landscapes and mountain views. Pangong Lake is known for its mesmerizing blue waters that change shades throughout the day. Spend your evening enjoying the peaceful surroundings and capturing stunning photographs. Overnight stay in lakeside camps.

Day 6: Pangong to Leh via Chang La

Wake up early to witness a magical sunrise over Pangong Lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass. On the way, visit Thiksey Monastery, one of the largest monasteries in Ladakh, and Shey Palace, a historic royal residence. Enjoy your last evening shopping at Leh market. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 7: Departure from Leh

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Leh Airport for your onward journey. Your Ladakh tour concludes with unforgettable memories of mountains, lakes, and adventure.
